One of our favorite traditions at Byrd is Reading Buddies!
Older students pair up with younger ones to share stories, laughter, and the joy of reading together. These special moments build confidence, connection, and a love of books that lasts all year long.

Happy School Custodian Appreciation Day! We are so lucky to have our amazing crew, and we are thankful for you every day! For all of the seen and unseen work, you truly make our school a better place!

Happy National Principals Month! We are grateful for our very special principal every month of the year! Your hard work makes our community stronger and better! In the words of Darth Vader - probably about Mr. Meiller, "The Force is strong with this one.”

Our kindergarteners have been hard at work this marking period! They love hands-on building activities for math and reading. We are lucky to have Mrs. Slater pushing in for math support!

Look at these boys holding the doors for others! We are so proud of our Eagles with awesome manners!

Thank you Mr. Mock for helping 3rd graders in Mrs. Nemetz room to learn more about the continents and oceans while having so much fun with the Indy Car robots!
