The school board budget workshop, originally scheduled for tonight, has been rescheduled due to inclement weather. This budget workshop will now be held on February 3rd at 5:30 p.m. at the School Administration Building (2938 River Rd W, Building I). Since returning from winter break and beginning our Goochland Reads book, The Heartwood Hotel: The Greatest Gift, we have been lucky to welcome a very special guest to the library!
A white rabbit named Carrots has been visiting while we read our story, reminding us of Duchess Hazeline from the book. Carrots belongs to one of our wonderful school families, and we are so grateful they have shared her with us.
Our students love reading to Carrots and are extra careful to stay calm and quiet during story time—hoping she might peek out and listen along! 💕📖
