SEPTEMBER IS ATTENDANCE AWARENESS MONTH
Did you know that missing 10% of the school year, or about 2 days each month over the course of a school year, is considered chronic absenteeism? Students can still fall behind even by missing 1 or 2 days every few weeks.
At Byrd, we love to see our students smiling faces every day. During the month of September, any student who is present every day starting on September 6th will be entered to win a NEW BIKE! Classes will also have the opportunity to earn a special treat of their choice if their class has good attendance.
