Byrd Art Show & Book Fair
Mark your calendar for our Byrd Art Show on Tuesday, April 26th from 5-7pm. All students will have art work on display, and there will be free dinner and prizes. The book fair will be open for shopping. Click here to get a sneak peak at student art work!!!!
The Book Fair is at school this week. Students will be allowed to make purchases during their Library/Guidance ENCORE time slot. If your schedule opens, then we would love to have you volunteer to help students at the Book Fair. SIGN UP HERE.
Chick-fil-a Spirit Event
Our next Chick-fil-A spirit event is Saturday, April 30th from 2pm-5pm at Short Pump Town Center. Make sure you mention “Byrd Elementary School” at checkout, and a portion of sales will go back to our school!
Silent Auction and Family Fun Night
The BPG will host Byrd Elementary’s Silent Auction and Family Fun Night on Thursday, May 5th from 6-8:30pm. Dinner will be at 6pm and families are asked to pre-order their meal from Chick-fil-A via this Google Form. We are looking forward to a fun night of dinner, auction items you don’t want to miss and a movie. Please plan to join us!

If you have to make a change to your child's transportation arrangements for the day, please notify the office by 1:00 p.m. (emergencies only). It is important that your child arrives home safely and it is not always possible to notify the teacher's or a child of a change to how they will be transported.
GHS Spring Production: Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella
Please join us to see the GHS spring production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. The show dates are April 29@ 7pm, April 30th @ 2pm & 7pm, May 1st @ 2pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students pre-12. Purchase tickets available here.
There will be a special event for our younger audience members to join Cinderella for a pre-show party before the matinee on Saturday. Fun with Cinderella and Friends will take place at the back GHS patio on Saturday, April 30th @ 12:30. All guests will get to decorate their own cupcake treat, talk and take pictures with cast members, and make a magic wand or knight’s shield to take into the show and home with them. Tickets for this event will be $20 per parent/child pair and additional children are $10. Tickets available here.
