We had an incredible first week of school. Thank you to our entire community for working together to make it a success!
Nurse Britton would like to remind all families to check over the Health Screening Questions below every day. Also, everyone must wear a mask when inside the building. Any food brought into school for a whole class must be store bought, have an ingredient list, and be approved by our school nurse.
Students should bring a water bottle to school each day, as we do not have water fountains at school this year - just water bottle refill stations.
Attention families of students in grades 3-5. Students will receive iPads on Monday if they have a completed AUP in PowerSchool (this must be completed through a web browser, not the app) OR they returned a paper copy to school. Students who have paid the $20 insurance fee will be able to take the iPad home. Pay insurance fee here. Kajeet requests are accepted using this form.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to improve the car rider lines in the morning and afternoon. In the mornings, follow the flow of traffic toward the back drop-off circle. As you get to any intersection, please take turns merging into the drop-off lane. In the afternoon, car riders are now being released from class at 2:15. We will always do our best to take the cars in the order that they arrive, but sometimes that is difficult with the amount of traffic. Thank you for your patience as we move you into the pick-up circle.
Please join us for our first Byrd Parent Group meeting of the year on Tuesday at 4 p.m. Anyone who is interested in supporting our students and teachers this school year is encouraged to attend. We will conduct this first meeting virtually using Google Meet.
