We hope you are enjoying a wonderful summer! We are looking forward to welcoming our students and families back for another exciting year of learning, growth, and fun at Byrd Elementary School.
Here is some important information to start the year:
August 9th, from 3:00 to 5:00, we will have our 3rd annual "Popsicles and Playtime on the Playground". This is an opportunity to meet me and some other classmates and families before the first day.
2026-2027 School Year Calendar: Plan ahead for important dates, holidays, and school breaks by reviewing the approved 2026-2027 School Year Calendar.
August 13th, from 2:00 to 3:30 is our PREK and KINDERGARTEN ORIENTATION. We will start in the library, but once you get here, there will be plenty of people around to tell you where to go!
The same day, August 13th, from 4:00 to 6:30, is our "Back to School Night". This is a time for everyone to come by, meet their teachers, get info of some organizations, and see friends. Please bring any necessary paperwork to the office that day as well.
PREK and K start school on August 17th!
ALL GRADES come to school on the 18th!
