Today was an exciting day! Our 3rd – 5th graders received iPads, cords, and chargers. Students reviewed rules and responsibilities with the iPads through this presentation. Students should bring the iPad to school each day fully charged. If you have not paid the $20 insurance you can do that here.
On Sunday, September 29th from 2pm-6pm, Byrd Elementary School will host the 5th Byrd Farmer’s Market!
This event is open to the community and will host vendors, games, food trucks, spirit wear, and fun! Plan to bring family and friends for a fun afternoon exploring all that our vendors have to offer from handmade items to local distributors, munching on goodness from local food trucks, and enjoying games and activity booths hosted by our students! The students at BES can do amazing things and they know that with hard work they can impact their school and community. With the funds raised during this event, Byrd Elementary will donate half of the earnings to the community through Goochland Cares and use the remaining half to support field trips for the school year.
Come and enjoy this incredible event!
If you are interested in being a vendor and need the vendor registration form, please see flyer for contact information.
