For our Eagles continuing Distance Learning:
This will be your last week receiving our BES Sunday Calls. Starting next week, to build a more cohesive virtual experience for your child, Mrs. Christin East will send your weekly messages. She will also be your point of contact. She can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or 804-556-5642. Mrs. East will work closely with Mrs. Reams, Mrs. McCay, and Mr. Hopkins to provide consistency across the division.
There is no school on Monday 10/26 or Tuesday 10/27 this week. Monday is reserved for Conferences and Tuesday is a teacher work day!
Monday is set aside for conferences! BES in-person learners should have brought home a paper version of this Conference Companion. On the back you will also find a monthly guide to supporting your student all year long!
Gifted and Talented Virtual Informational Meeting Tuesday at 3:30.

BES Car Riders
Great job this week and thanks for your patience as we figured out our new system! Remember, the first car in the circle should pull all the way up to the cone. Please minimize spaces between vehicles so we can reduce your wait time as much as possible!
MP1 Report Cards
Report Cards should have come home with in person learners on Friday. There are in a plain white envelope. For our distance learners, your report cards were mailed to you on Friday so be on the lookout for those!
Fall Celebrations at School
This is a quick reminder that due to our current Phase III Health Plan we can’t accept any treats from home at this time.
NOVEMBER IS FAMILY ENGAGEMENT IN EDUCATION MONTH!
Be on the lookout for our very own BES Virtual Parent Education Series in honor of this special month. All seminars will be recorded and shared with everyone to watch at a time convenient for you if you are unable to attend the live sessions.
Topics will include:
Helping Your Child Transition Back into the Classroom
Supporting your Math Learner at Home
Supporting your Reader at Home
Supporting your Littlest Learners: Brain Smart Choices for Connecting and Calming (target audience is age 0-5 but all are welcome)
