We are so very fortunate to have Miss Connie with us at Byrd! Last week she was recognized with the NBC12 Act of Kindness Award and then Dr. Raley recognized her as the 2019 Goochland County Public Schools employee of the year. We LOVE you Miss Connie!
Field Day 2019 is quickly approaching. The date is set for Friday May 3rd, so mark your calendar. This is such a fun day for our kids. We can’t do it without the amazing support of our families! You guys make it a huge success. We are in need of many volunteers and a few items. There will not be any paper sign ups that come home with your child. Please sign up by Friday April 26th. Let’s make this the field day to remember!
The Pamunkey Regional Library and Goochland County Public Schools are teaming up again to bring you this year’s Summer Reading Program! To be a part of all the fun, sign up at the Goochland Branch Library or return the form to your school librarian. There is going to be a special treat at school for students who sign up by May 17th! Forms are also located here.
