Now that the weather is warmer many teachers would like to get students outside to conduct hands-on learning investigations. We are in particular need of donations of plants or seeds, potting soil, compost, gardening tools (specifically wheelbarrows, gardening hoes, and shovels), and your own expertise if you would like to work with students! If you are dividing plants in your yard this spring, we would gladly take your plants! We would love to have the help of parents that would like to help students learn how to plant and tend to gardens. If you are interested in making a donation you can call the school, email 2nd grade teacher Holly Swift at email@example.com, or complete the form we have posted on the website. We plan to have a community clean up day on Saturday, April 16th, to get the courtyard into tip top shape for learning activities.
If you can help in the courtyard, then please complete the form on this link!
