Weekly Reminders for the Week of January 19th
Hello BES Families!
We hope you have enjoyed a wonderful three day weekend. We also hope that everyone is enjoying reading the book, The World According to Humphrey. This week we will read chapters 9 through 12. There is a fun activity for families to do as they read the chapter each night, and these activities are printed on the reading calendar. If you can, take a picture and send it to your child’s teacher so we can post these pictures on our school website!
This Friday is the deadline for registering for Goochland County Public School’s annual Conundrum Day. This is a free event that will engage students in an engineering project. This year the project relates to our One District One Book book! You can find more information about the event and registration forms on our school website.
Nurse Wunsh would like to share a tip to help keep our community healthy: Please remember that the easiest route for germs to enter our body is through our nose, mouth, or eyes. If we have germs on our hands and rub our nose or eyes or put our hands in our mouth, in go those germs! It is also a good idea to avoid sharing cups or utensils with our friends.
Have a fantastic week!
