Dear BES Students, Parents/Guardians,
BES will celebrate “Bullying Prevention Month” with the following activities during the week of October 26:
Monday (10/26): Wear Red Day. Red signifies the red of a stop sign and is a message to stop bullying.
Tuesday (10/27): Wear Crazy Socks. Signifies, “Bullying Makes Us Crazy”.
Wednesday (10/28): Students pair up with a friend and dress alike. Signifies, Pair Up Against Bullying”.
Thursday (10/29): Students wear their favorite jersey or sports team apparel. Signifies, “Team Up Against Bullying”.
Friday (10/30): Students will wear school apparel or school colors. Signifies, “Stand Together Against Bullying”.
What is Bullying? Bullying is any unwanted aggressive behavior that happens repeatedly or has the ability to happen repeatedly. There is a real or supposed imbalance of power.
Please help BES show that we do not tolerate bullying!
